A Patriotic Celebration!

July 4th has come and gone, but it’s not too late to enjoy some great books celebrating our freedom.  Over at To Read, Or Not To Read, you can read the review of 3 books that honor and celebrate the men and women who serve us and their families who sacrifice for us as well.

For the wives or military men, I highly recommend the book God Strong.

Anyone will enjoy this compilation of stories in A Salute To Service.

And finally A Prayer Journey Through Deployment will be a great encouragement to any family member of those who serve.

TV Tuesday

This summer I am going to do a series on DVD’s for kids.  Even though my niche is all about books, I do enjoy reviewing Kids programs and allowing my children to benefit from the wholesome shows that are available.  So join me on Tuesdays starting July 6th for highlights about special DVD’s that will be great watches for your kids...’cause as a Mom I know how important it is to watch what you watch!

Starting on June 23rd, Mandy from To Read, Or Not To Read, is going to be starting a special feature titled Chapter-By-Chapter.
